¿Qué es el English Excellence Path?
El English Excellence Path es la trayectoria formativa institucional del Colegio Cabo de Hornos para el aprendizaje del inglés.
Organiza, articula y da coherencia a todas las acciones del área, desde Preescolar hasta IV Medio, asegurando que los estudiantes desarrollen habilidades comunicativas reales, evidenciables y progresivas.
Su propósito es instalar un estándar común de aprendizaje, garantizar continuidad entre niveles y fortalecer la proyección académica mediante prácticas pedagógicas consistentes, actividades de alta visibilidad y certificaciones internacionales.
No es un programa aislado, sino un marco estructurante que guía el desarrollo del inglés en el colegio y orienta la toma de decisiones del área, permitiendo mostrar evidencia concreta de aprendizaje, elevar la calidad formativa y proyectar un sello institucional hacia la comunidad escolar y hacia nuevas familias.
The English Excellence Path is the institutional learning pathway of Cabo de Hornos School for English language education.
It organizes, articulates, and gives coherence to all actions within the English department, from Preschool through 12th Grade, ensuring that students develop real, demonstrable, and progressively advancing communicative skills.
Its purpose is to establish a common learning standard, ensure continuity between levels, and strengthen academic projection through consistent pedagogical practices, high-visibility activities, and international certifications.
It is not an isolated program, but rather a structuring framework that guides the development of English within the school and informs decision-making in the department, allowing the institution to show concrete evidence of learning, raise educational quality, and project a distinctive institutional identity to the school community and to prospective families.
